Josh Manning Named to SBJ’s 40 Under 40

We’re proud to share that our founder and CEO, Josh Manning, has been named to the Springfield Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2025. This award honors young professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership in their industries and communities—and Josh’s recognition is a reflection of the mission and impact of Valiant Group.

Josh launched Valiant Group just four years ago with a bold vision: to use real estate as a tool for positive change. Since then, he’s built a $50 million portfolio, managed over 700 doors, and led the rehabilitation of more than 200 distressed properties. His leadership has helped turn neglected properties into thriving homes, created jobs, and empowered more than 150 subcontractors.

One of his proudest achievements is the Holland Park Apartments project, a complex flood zone development that required innovative solutions and set a new standard for what’s possible in Springfield. Under his direction, Valiant became the first in the area to build an entire apartment community on stilts—offering not just housing, but hope.

Josh also leads with people in mind. From mentoring employees who start their own businesses to supporting career growth within our team, he believes in building others up. His involvement in city initiatives, like the Community Development Code Update, shows his commitment to shaping Springfield’s future well beyond the job site.

Being featured in Springfield Business Journal is a milestone for Josh—and a proud moment for all of us at Valiant Group. It’s a celebration of the values we stand for: innovation, hard work, and community impact.

Congratulations, Josh! Your leadership inspires us, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
